Low-Pressure Pipe Networks

Low-pressure pipe networks are sealed networks of small diameter pipes with holes underneath that receive pumped effluent from a wastewater treatment system. This method is used to evenly distribute water over an attenuating gravel bed before it discharges to groundwater.

Reduced footprint

This can be used on sites where the wastewater treatment system is lower than where the treated effluent will be discharged, it also reduces the footprint in comparison to a regular percolation area maximising space on site and meeting the separation distances required. We supply these pipe networks in kit form to the size specified by your engineer ready to assemble on site.

Why choose a Low-Pressure Pipe Network?

  • Easy install

  • Reduced footprint

  • Cost effective

  • Even distribution

  • Prevents peak flows

  • Valves for flushing network annually

  • Costs are comparable to regular gravity trenches

  • Improved distribution on sloping ground or uneven terrain
